Description

Text a screenshot, a link, or the claim itself to +1 (855) 635-4332. GREX checks those claims against public evidence and replies with a link to a report. There is no account.

How to opt in

You opt in by texting +1 (855) 635-4332. Sending a screenshot, a link, pasted text, or any other message to that number is your request to use GREX and to receive the replies that come with it.

Message frequency

One or more replies for each screenshot, link, or pasted text you send. No marketing messages. A check usually gets a short note that we are working on it, sometimes one more note if it is still running, and then a text with the result and a link. If we cannot check it, you get one reply saying so. A HELP, STOP, or START message gets one reply.

Help

Reply HELP or INFO for help. The reply includes how to reach us and how to opt out.

Stop

Reply STOP, STOPALL, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, or QUIT to opt out. Send that word on its own. Punctuation is fine, so STOP! counts. Adding other words does not, so "please stop" will not opt you out. STOP ALL counts, because those letters are the keyword STOPALL. We text a confirmation. After that, we do not send check results. HELP still gets the help reply, and another stop word gets the confirmation again. Reply START, UNSTOP, or YES to opt back in. Each of those gets one confirmation.

Carriers

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Reports

A GREX report is an automated evidence-strength assessment. It describes how strong the public evidence looked for the claims that were checked. It is not legal, medical, financial, or other professional advice. It may be wrong, incomplete, or out of date. Do not treat it as a substitute for your own judgment or for a qualified professional.

Anyone with the report link can view it. Reports stop being available 7 days after they are created. The Privacy Policy describes what we store and for how long.

Acceptable use

Use GREX for a screenshot, a link, or pasted text of a claim you want checked. Do not send illegal content, or content you do not have the right to send. Do not send sensitive personal information. Do not abuse the service, including by flooding it, probing it, or trying to disrupt it.

Limits apply:

• One image at a time. A link or pasted text can be checked without an image.
• Images larger than 5 million bytes (about 5 megabytes) are refused.
• One check in progress at a time on a phone number.
• Up to 100 finished checks on that number in any 24-hour period.
• We may also pause GREX for the day.

We can refuse a message or stop offering GREX.

No warranty

GREX, the reports, and the rest of the site are provided as is and as available. We do not warrant that a report is accurate, complete, or current, that a text will be delivered, or that the service will be uninterrupted. To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, Tweed Collective LLC and its members and operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits or data, arising out of GREX, a report, a text message, or the site. Our total liability for a claim related to GREX is limited to the amount you paid us to use it. GREX has no charge, so that cap is zero. Some jurisdictions do not allow these limits. Where they do not, the limits apply only as far as the law allows.

California law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.

Changes

We may change these terms. The date at the top changes when we do. If you text GREX after that date, the new terms apply.
